This was my second cortisone injection in my hip and once again is very successful. (I undertook extreme physical exercise jumping over large muddy puddles, which I should not have, hence the second injection). We discussed my allergies again, which influences the procedure Dr Purohit follows, and the projected length of time the cortisone should give me before an inevitable hip replacement. It is a pleasure to experience an intelligent, personable and communicative consultant.

Dr Neeraj was absolutely amazing today with my care and treatment ! I was sue to have steroid injection in my knee but I was so nervous when arriving, both him and his assistant made sure I was totally calm before even attempting to start any procedures, I have never been made to feel so relaxed before. I was so impressed with everything from start to finish he even asked what I wanted (quiet or him to talk to me ) he kept me chatting the whole way through my procedure and made sure I was comfortable. Dr Neeraj has restored my faith in having these sort of procedures done in future as I had a bad experience last time. I would like to personally say a massive thank you to him for today ! He really is an asset to your team at the Spire hospital.

Extremely pleasant and welcoming. Showed patience in explaining the procedure and took time to make sure that I was comfortable and understood clearly. I arrived early for my appointment and was seen promptly, without having to wait until the appointed time. The nurses assisting the Doctor were also very welcoming and caring.

I have a fear of needles so I was not looking forward to having the image guided steroid injection and said so on arriving. I felt at ease with Dr Neeraj Purohit as he explained everything and answered my questions. The procedure was over and done with very quickly.
